You might have witnessed the damage that fire might have caused in a certain place. In many cases, people usually assume that they are accidents. This is true in some scenarios but people usually set some fires too. It can be hard to understand why but they have their own reasons for doing so. Therefore, you need to know and understand the arsonist profiles behind the fire tragedy.

There are curious fire setters who are inquisitive in trying out new things that they have not done or seen before. They use matches and they are learners in using fire. At the early stages, it becomes exciting trying to light the fire. In the process, their curiosity will push them in increasing the level of fire to a magnitude that they cannot manage and that is where the problem begins.

Troubled arsons lack the ability to deal with their problems and they find a way to channel their frustrations and anger but in a bad way. This people have a trauma that was caused by a past experience with fire. After setting the fire, they are not remorseful despite the tragedy. You can easily identify them because they cannot express themselves and have a poor problem solving skills.

In some cases, an individual can indulge in setting the fire due to peer pressure. A majority of these people may not have the will to do it but the motivation they receive from their friends is what forces them. Delinquent fire setter are mostly adolescents since that is the stage where peer pressure is high. They engage in this act just to please their friends and peers.

The strategic arsons think about how to instigate the fire and cause damages in the process. They usually target a specific thing and they plan about it. They come up with strategies that will ensure the fire spreads to achieve the purpose he/she had. Putting off such fires is not easy because the arson had calculated his moves before setting it.

Pathological arsons are intelligent people but with great emotional problems. Their emotional breakdown is the cause of their behavior. They might have been raped or undergone physical abuse in the past. Such experiences lead to the emotional breakdown. They do not trust people easily. Therefore, they lack the ability of building and maintaining healthy relationships.

Excitement motivated fire setters are usually glad when engaging in lighting the fire. Their excitement is their blind spot because it clouds their judgment to the dangers of the fire. Their main purpose is to have fun in the process and cause no problem. However, in some contexts, their excitements culminate to an unmanageable situation that later brings damage.

Revenge motivated fire setters may have had a challenge with another person in the past and in that confrontation, they ended up being hurt. Therefore, they plan evil against the person in order to feel relieved of what the person put them through. This tragedy is usually targeted to a specific person. These arsonists believe that if they hurt that person, they will feel better.
